Interior Painting Services
1. Your quote assumes that the surface conditions you provided are accurate. Paint-ready surface conditions are categorized as Great, Good, and Needs Repairs.
A surface is considered in “Great” condition when the room is like new and needs no repairs prior to painting.
A surface is considered “Good” when one or more surfaces to be painted will need additional preparation to be paint ready and when preparation requirements do not exceed the following:
- Patching in any number of nail holes (i.e. from hanging picture frames),
- repairing no more than 5 bolt holes (i.e. from mounting a TV, shelving, etc.), or
- smoothing out small, existing bumps.
A surface “Needs Repairs” when one or more surfaces to be painted will need additional preparation to be paint ready. Rooms that need repairs require custom pricing. Your Project Coordinator will work with you to determine the necessary repair work. Paintzen asks that customers provide photos in these instances to help with assessing damage including:
- Repairing over 5 bolt holes (i.e. from mounting a TV, shelving, etc.),
- Caulking along baseboards or other moldings, including but not limited to crown molding, door frames, wainscoting, and chair rails,
- Scraping and sanding uneven surfaces, peeling or chipping paint, or
- Repairing dents or cracks in walls
- Stains or discoloration due to water or fire damage
- Removal of wallpaper
If you need to make changes to the project parameters, please reach out to your Project Coordinator 48 hours prior to the start of your project. Any changes or mis categorizations to room conditions may impact your quote.
